What is it all about?
It consists of a monthly financial allowance, per son, daughter or minor in foster care with disabilities, which is established according to their age, the degree of disability and the need for another person’s contest.
The effects of the benefit are quarterly. In general, increases, replacements and changes resulting in an increase in the amount of the benefit take effect in the calendar quarter immediately following the quarter in which the application is submitted. In cases in which the variations imply a reduction or extinction of the benefit, the effects will be of the last day of the natural quarter in which the variation occurred, without taking into account the date of communication of the same.
Amount
Monthly benefit, the amount of which has been fixed by Royal Decree-Law 1/2025 of 28 January, approving urgent measures in the economic, transport, social security and vulnerability situations.
For the year 2025 the amounts are as follows:
MODALITY 1 (under 18 years with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%). 83,33 €/month.
MODALITY 2 (over 18 years of age with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 65%). 483,80 €/month.
MODALITY 3 (over 18 years old with a degree of disability of 75% or higher and need of third person). 725,60 €/month.
Who can perceive the aid
Mutualists in high or assimilated situation to high in Muface who are in charge of the son, daughter or minor in foster care with the right to the provision of disability.
The person with disabilities, who is the cause of the benefit, must belong to the Muface collective, unless he or she carries out a work activity or is a beneficiary or beneficiary of an economic benefit or subsidy of a salary nature that causes his or her inclusion in the General Social Security System. In no case, the remuneration received for the performance of said work activity or for the collection of said benefit or economic subsidy may exceed 100% of the Minimum Interprofessional Salary in annual computation. It will be necessary to present the documentation that proves the fulfillment of requirements. In the case of employed persons under the contract at first and three payrolls as soon as they are available. For self-employed workers it will be necessary to file the quarters of the tax returns filed.
The minimum interprofessional salary for the year 2025 amounts to 1.184 €/month
Deadline for submission
Throughout the year, provided that at the time of the same the concurrence of the determining circumstances of the right to the benefit is accredited. We inform you that the date of application determines the date of economic effects of the recognition of this benefit, that is (effects in the natural quarter immediately following the one in which the application is presented).
