Social and Health Protection Grants

MUFACE annually convenes socio-sanitary programs aimed at meeting the needs of the elderly, people with disabilities, drug addiction and other addictions, chronic psychiatric illness and other situations of need.

The call for each year establishes the requirements that must be accredited to access the aid.

The current programmes are:

• Aid to facilitate personal autonomy
• Grants for people with chronic psychiatric disease
• Assistance for treatment of drug addiction and other addictions
• Grants for temporary stays in assisted residences or in day and night centres
• Grants for people with celiac disease
• Grants for people with oncological disease
• Aid for prolonging the effects of previous aid by dependency situation

On April 28, 2025, the BOE published the Resolution of 21 April 2025 the General Mutuality of Civil Servants of the State (MUFACE), which calls for the granting of social and health protection aid during the year 2025

The deadline for submitting applications for these grants is up to and including 31 December 2025.

The resolution period for these files is two months from the date of entry of the application in MUFACE. After this period, the effects of the lack of express resolution (administrative silence) will be considered.

It is noted that during the month of May in our offices there will be a large influx of mutualists, given that it is the month in which the change of ordinary and forced entity must take place, due to the entry into force of the new National Health Care Concert. For this reason, We strongly recommend and thank you in advance to use the electronic headquarters and we advise to delay the presentation of applications when they are in person, since it will be much more comfortable to do it during the month of June onwards, taking into account that there is a deadline until December 31.
