Special allowance in the case of multiple births, adoptions or foster care

What is it all about?

Single-payment financial assistance to which mutualists and mutualists are entitled when they are in the legally established factual cases of multiple birth, adoption or foster care.

It is compatible with the one-time financial benefit for multiple births or adoptions.

Amount

It is 100% of the contribution base corresponding to the day of the causative event for 42 days (six weeks of mandatory rest) calculated according to the number of minors born or received simultaneously from the second.

Recipients of aid

It is necessary for the following requirements to be met in the mutual personnel:

  • Be discharged or in a situation assimilated to discharge in the Mutuality on the date of the causative act.
  • Credit six months of contributions to the Mutuality.
  • To have enjoyed the rest period provided for in article 49 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of 30 October, approving the Consolidated Text of the Law on the Basic Status of Public Employees (EBEP).

It will be perceived:

  • In case of multiple childbirth: any of the parents, both men and women, depending on the option chosen by the mother, if applicable.
  • In case of multiple adoption or foster care: any of the adoptive or welcoming, both men and women, at the choice of both.

Deadline for submission

Five years from the date of delivery or the date of judicial decision by which the adoption is constituted or the date of the administrative or judicial decision of placement, or, in the case of simple placement, the date of communication of the competent organ of the Autonomous Community.

Place of presentation

La solicitud se realizará a través de la Sede Electrónica de Muface en la dirección https://sede.muface.gob.es/, mediante certificado digital reconocido, DNI electrónico, identificación Cl@ve Permanente o Cl@ve PIN.

Documentation

When completing the electronic application, you will be asked:

  • Registration of the birth in the Civil Registry, or a copy of the entry in the Family Book, if applicable.
  • Judicial resolution, in case of adoption or multiple foster care.

  • Royal Decree 295/2009, of 6 March, which regulates the economic benefits of the Social Security system for maternity, paternity, risk during pregnancy and risk during natural breastfeeding.
